OSHA is conducting a voluntary private sector survey of over 19,000 employers. The survey looks to poll information regarding safety practices that are in place specifically inspections, hazards and safety management systems. The full press release from OSHA can be found below.

Last year over 30 workers died of heat-related illnesses. OSHA has created a national outreach to educate workers and end this problem.

The White House announced on Tuesday a plan that aimed to fight prescription drug substance abuse. According to SAMHSA (Substance Abuse & Mental Health Services Administration), from 2002 and 2009, the number of Americans 12 and older abusing prescription drugs increased by 20%.
